In short, I'm a laid back, cruisy gal with a love of adventure.

Give me a hammock, a good view and a, (depending on the time of day) cuppa or a cold beer, some good tunes with some good people and I'm a happy chap! Even better if there's a good spot to have a swim or a surf close by.

As well as a photographer, I'm also a: mum, traveller, surfer, camper, fun-seeker, adventure lover, fisher, hiker, beach lover, ocean dreamer, bush baby, tree climber, belly laugher/snorter and silly goose.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hand. My very first was a little 35mm film camera shaped like a tiger, which I proudly took on a family holiday to Vietnam when I was nine (I’m still hunting down the photos from that trip—watch this space!) I vividly recall connecting with a Vietnamese girl about my age and capturing her warm smile on film. From that moment on, I was hooked, constantly reaching for the camera to photograph my family, friends, and the world around me.

I have so many wonderful photographs of my childhood thanks mostly to my Dad, who is also a photographer. Family holidays, weekend camping trips, and just simple family moments of dress ups, water play out the back, and big belly laughs were all captured and are now treasured memories.

In 2024, my husband and I welcomed our own little legend into the world, and just like that, capturing family moments took on a whole new meaning. It lit a fire in me—a deep urge to not just take photos, but to tell stories and freeze those little moments in time that make life so special.

Back on Groote Eylandt in the Northern Territory, I started photographing families and couples. It was magic seeing how simple, everyday moments—laughing and playing together, a cheeky grin, a quiet connection—could turn into memories that people would treasure forever.

Now, here we are in the beautiful Huon Valley in Tasmania, and I’m already smitten. There’s just something about this place—the fresh air, the cozy vibes, the stunning backdrops—that makes it perfect for capturing real, honest moments. Whether it’s in the comfort of your home or at a spot that’s special to you, this is where memories are made.

For me, photography is about keeping it real. It’s about being invited into your world, sharing a laugh, and snapping those perfectly imperfect moments that show who you really are. No two stories are the same, and that’s what I love most—capturing the real deal, your way.
